Review Article

Review articles should be between 2,000 and 3,000 words (including footnotes), and must review more than one book; this may be two books, three, or a series. The review article should be written as more than just a book review and will have paragraphs that relate the works reviewed to wider theological issues, or to society and politics.

Book Reviews

Book reviews (reviews of a single volume) must be between 600 and 800 words in total (including footnotes).

ERTP Book Reviewer Application Form

Thank you for your interest in reviewing books for the journal Evangelical Review of Theology and Politics (ERTP). The ERTP is a peer-reviewed journal that focusses on the interaction of theology and politics. Thus, we are particularly interested in reviews of scholarly books that engage issues of faith and societal issues. Books discussing contemporary concerns are most welcome but the journal is interested in topics of historical value as well.

We welcome scholars with terminal degrees (e.g. Ph.D.), Ph.D. students, as well as Master's students. To be placed on our reviewer list, please provide the following information. Please complete the following form (all information will be held in confidence)––

To help us identify books appropriate to your research and interests, please the options below. Master’s students should limit their selection to the area of their thesis research. Scholars and Ph.D. students may select up to 3 topics.
